I have an oil painting signed by "Harry Hoffman" and under the signature it says "Berlin". It's signed on the bottom left corner. The painting is a close-up of an older man in lederhosen smoking a long, curved pipe.
Harry Hoffmann was my granduncle (his wife and my father's mother were siblings). Harry Hoffmann was born in Berlin, Germany in 1919. He married in Berlin in 1941. They had one son named Norbert who lived in Bad Duerkheim, Germany for a long time. Harry Hoffmann lived in Spesbach near Landstuhl in Germany. He died in 1991. His pictures are certainly of an ideal value as they show typical german subjects or "German Gemuetlichkeit". Regards, Alex

I also have a painting by Herr Hoffman. Do you have any information on this artist?
