Jim-
Never received the appraisal and just found your note today.
I do plan to offer it for sale this weekend.
Not sure what it is worth.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Jackson Desk by Jasper Office Furniture Co
I do not see a date on this inquiry or response. I have a very similar desk from the same company, same era, but with drawers only on one side. I am very interested in what success you had with your desk.
Re: Jackson Desk by Jasper Office Furniture Co
Just a note of reference perhaps, as my father had a desk just like yours which he later gave to me and which i used for many years. Your photos show the desk set upon roller dolly's but do you have the original legs? The legs on my desk were a single stubby beam with rounded ends that centered in the middle of each drawer casing's bottom frame. Additionally, the desk had a 1/4" thick piece of green tempered glass on the top held in place by 1/16" thick cork pads that allowed me to slip things in under the glass like calenders, notes, and photos. I'm hoping your desk has similar features as well. Although I no longer have my desk, I do see them around fairly often here in the midwest selling from anywhere between $50. and $300. I also had an accompanying and matching oak reclining desk chair with arms that rolled around on castors. As you know, this desk weighs a ton and is a bear to move around. I sold mine along with the chair ten years ago for $75. Good luck with yours.
