Mahogany, leather top, claw foot, drum table

I don't know the first thing about furniture. So please excuse my poor description. This table has one small cigarette burn. It has metal claw feet and metal buttons in the tops of the legs and metal lions and ringsd as the drawer handles. It has a single drawer and the partial tag that it has says mahogany.The leather top has scuff marks and shows many small hirline cracks. we don't know if refinishing it would ruin the value or not? Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank you
