Long Description:

This pitcher was bought in an antique shop in Ontario, Canada. It's a tall pitcher with an accordian pleated surface and a sharply angled handle. The colours are turquoise, black and white. I'm not sure if the item is china or porcelain (I'm thinking china). I have searched all over the internet for anything resembling this item and found nothing. The closest was a deep pleated white bowl. Nothing with the unique painted finish...nothing even close. There is a stamp under the glaze on the bottom that simply reads "Germany" with the "G" being fancier and appearing doubled although that may simply be the font they used. Another forum suggested that the pitcher might be from the 1950's and have been manufactured for export, although that would lead me to assume that there were many made and yet I can find nothing similar on the internet. Hopefully someone will recognize the item and be able to tell me something about it and perhaps the value of it.

Thanks for your help!

Condition:
Excellent
Long Description:

White background, blue pattern.    Stamp clearly says Copeland with what looks like a T underneath.  Cannot determine what pattern is called or what decade it is from, but believe it to be from around 1850-70s.

Would like some idea of price range.   Is in perfect shape, no cracks or nicks.

Long Description:

A large mochaware jug/pitcher - olive green glaze on the main body with dendritic 'seaweed' design, blue band around the top and black stripes around the top and bottom.

Curved body; large spout; large curved handle with some detailing.

The glaze has crazing all around the exterior and some on the interior.  There is a fairly large chip on the underside 'foot' of the pitcher.

There are no date/provenance marks at all.

Any more information about this type of mochaware or an appraisal would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

This was given to my husband after his grandmother had passed.  We are curious as to what it is worth if sold as the set and also any general information about this pattern.  We have been looking on the internet for the pattern and we haven't seen anything about it.  The only information that we have be able to find is the maker, date range, and pattern type.  There is light crazing on both pieces. Any information that we can obtain on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
