I was given this a few years back and I have no clue where it is originally from, and i know nothing about easels besides the fact that this one is VERY special.
I saw some that went for thousands of dollars on google.
Its is the 55" inch tall version of this easel.
From what i can see on google, they call the style "Rococo Style" if I understand correctly.
It is fully made of massive Brass and has 3 stamps indicating some kind of serial number.
This tennis racket was left to me by my father when he passed away. I have no idea about any history on this. It has been kept inside the home with temperature control for many, many, many years. Could someone please tell me about it and the value?
I am not sure who made or manufactured this secretary. The secretary / desk was very scratched and beat up when it was received, but it has since been sanded and restained.
I learned through this dresser that it is not always the best for valuation to "spruce up" antique furniture, but by the time I realized this, it was too late.
Two of its knobs were also missing when I received it, so I did have to get two replacement knobs for the top drawer (which is why the top knobs are slightly smaller than the bottommost ones, which are original to the piece as far as I know).
Someone that I don't know gave this to me for free. They were moving homes, and I assumed they were trying to downsize by getting rid of a lot of their furniture. It's structurally sound.
I have an old bed I bought back in the late '70's. I've never seen one like it (nor has anyone I ever asked) and am hopeful you might possibly be able to tell me what it is. Or anything about it if you could. Attached are a few pictures. Oh, and what appears to be tears in the leather on the right footboard is just paper from some old stickers someone placed on it before I bought it. I never cleaned it off because I didn't want to stain or fade the leather. But there are no tears in it. Both sides of the footboards are leathered and brass-studded as well. There must be over a thousand brass studs in the footboards alone. And the headboard weighs a ton.
