Two lamps that I believe are ceramic / porcelain, belonged to my grandmother who was French Canadian. I don't think the lamps are hand painted, looks like they pictures might be decals.
The vogue magazine is in great condition. It is an american issue. The magazine cover has the date May 15, 1933 and the subtitle Summer Travel, underneath the title "Vogue". There is a drawing of a hot air balloon as well.
Rectangular silver plated serving dish. Size is 11 x 7. It has a handle in the middle that swivels back and forth. In the center there is a rectangle with a woman who is dancing with a basket of some sort over her head. Surrounding that on the edges of the dish is a ornate flower pattern with two faces in the middle of the patterns. A womans on the short sides and a mans on the long sides. They look like a king and queen I dont' know? The handle in the middle is attached by silver plated rivets in ornate mounts. The U shaped handle has two thin textured rails connected at intervals with short diagonal braces of the same texture, also round flowers alternating with the braces. Not perfect, few pits some bad tarnish. Have not cleaned at all just found today.
I came into possession of the rosary when my grandmother gave it to me. She said it belonged to my great grandmother, who was born in Italy around 1904. I don't know anything more about it.
