Gently played with. Wearing original black and white striped bathing suit. Hair was in a braid I believe but is missing the ribbon. She has one of the original black open toe heels. Straight legs, straight torso.
Beautiful antique lamp with yellow,pink and blue roses and gold leaf trim. There are 2 children, one with blonde hair and the other with brown hair. Lamp shade, I believe is not the original but I am not certain. This is a must see.
These are chairs that my grandparents had restored in 1954. The restoration itself could stand to be restored at this point as there are some imperfections such as small upholstery stains and minor scratches. They are probably the result of other family members having a turn with them in their generation. As a child I was told they were not strong enough to sit in, and that certainly appears to be the case, as the burlap on the bottoms of the upholstery is dry and brittle. Three of the four have the tag in the photo attached. One is missing, having fallen off at some point.
