Victorian loveseat and chairs

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This loveseat / settee has a matching chair with arms and one without. These were my Mississippi grandparents' pieces, and I suspect they belonged to my great-grandmother, made by her family's furniture company in the late 19th century.  They were reupholstered around 1978.  There are no identifying labels or markings. The loveseat and gentleman's chair are in very good condition structurally and in their coverings. The ladies chair (the one without arms) has some spattered spots on the seat, and the frame seems a bit loose with some crackling in the finish of one of the carved wooden sides.  The wood carving looks hand done, not machine made.

1957 Ford Thunderbird convertable toy car

Category
Antique Toys
Condition
Good
Description

It is a red with tan interior 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertable toy car. It is somewhat self propelled, the rear wheel axle has a gear in the middle of it that goes inside of car, there appears to be a round weight  attached to another gear, so that when you push the car it keeps going because the spinning round weight. the front wheels don't turn and the doors, hood, and trunk don't open. The car has very little rust ( light surface rust) on the under side of it and on the axles. The front and rear bumpers appear to be made of plastic, the finish on the bumpers is lightly worn off. There isn't any other damage on the car. I don't have any pictures to send.
