Peruvian or Bolivian Pottery Man Figure / Effigy Whistle. Poss Inca?

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

I hope that I can get some ID help with this different piece. It looks like it was cast and then hand finished. It is a larger pottery whistle in the form of a Native Indian. He could be Inca, but the necklace and thick lips also point to Mexico. He is about 7.5" tall and is completely unmarked other than two parallel lines that may not be markings. You can see them by his right foot in the last photo. Thank you in advance for any information!

Asian Stoneware Vase / Pot with Rough Applied Eathenware Patterns

Category
Asian Art
Condition
Excellent
Description

Hi! i think that this is Japanese, but I do not know. I have not been able to get much of any info on it. It is a gray stoneware vase that has rough earthenware thickly hand applied and then it completely glazed inside and out. I have not had any luck with the character seal. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
