Description

My wife bought Felix at a garage sale in 2000. We put it away with some other collectables. I ran across it the other day and decided to investigate it. I'm unable to come up with any info on it whatsoever. I know it was made in the 1920s, and some giy named Pat Sullivan had the pattent on it.

nice! i dont know much but  this was made by steiff in germany im pretty sure. its a hand puppet, i just looked and saw some for sale for 200-300 dollars but to the right person you could get more.

Made in Germany. Circa 1927. While only 605 Steiff dolls were produced,  300 hand puppets were made during the few years of production. See Steiff book "Button in Ear" by the Ciesliks (1989) page 207.

If it is a steiff, i would say at auction this item would go for 250-275 american dollars.

Does it have a number on its ear? or a tag with a makers mark?
