1926 Stenotype Company Stenograph Machine, original case and accessories, 3 rolls of paper

By RWGerecke, 21 November, 2009
Description

I bought it at a thrift store as soon as it came from an estate sale. No other history of it.

Has original case with purple fabric lining. The case has a small compartment on larger side with 3 rolls of original paper from "The Stenotype Company", 2 arm extensions, an oil bottle, and 2 wooden pieces with an unknown use.

The stenograph itself is in excellent condition, the ink ribbon still allows faint impressions on new paper, and all keys work silently.

This might make a nice gift to my boss to celebrate our new office.  Do you still have it for sale?

Re: 1926 Stenotype Company Stenograph Machine, original case...

Did anyone ever provide any info on how much this item is worth. I found the exact same item in my grandmother's attic and would love to know.

Thanks,

Jaime

I'm a court reporter and extremely interested in buying this.  It's a great piece of history.  Is it still available?
