I bought it at a thrift store as soon as it came from an estate sale. No other history of it. Has original case with purple fabric lining. The case has a small compartment on larger side with 3 rolls of original paper from "The Stenotype Company", 2 arm extensions, an oil bottle, and 2 wooden pieces with an unknown use. The stenograph itself is in excellent condition, the ink ribbon still allows faint impressions on new paper, and all keys work silently.
