Long Description
This machine is a beautiful piece as you can see i got it as decrative piece for our home and found out that it works but would like to know the value the detail is slightly worn but visable of all it marks and it has beautiful artwork and detailing done to it , it also has the lettering of the company and the serial number on it on a small metal plate on the front of the machine i dont believe that the stand or table that it is in is the original but i dont know for sure
History
the item was made in new jersey around 1928-1929 and has unique dove tailin on the machine but may not be in the original stand , it is a working treadle machine in excellent condition

Singer Sewing Machine
Sad to say but Old Singers are not very collectible. They were made in the tens of millions, and virtually every home had one right up until the 1940's. Values for the treadle machines are very modest , with most selling for less than $200.00.
