1940's bedroom set?

My father acquired this bedroom set when he purchased his house in 1996, the woman who owned it was in her 70's at the time. The furniture is not local to us and there is no one to give us any info on markings or tags that may be present. Bedroom set consists of bed frame, nigh stand, chest, dresser, chair and mirror. It is believed to be from the 1940's and from what we have been told is hand dovetailed.
