What I have researched has me looking at opaline, cylinder and converted liquid lamps. The glass looks frosted to me but could be something else like opaline. The lower parts seem to be brass but the mid to top look like they may be bronze. It had a giant lampshade to it that broke years ago and I foolishly threw it out. The sconce like top is milk glass that came with it. I presume it is french as the estate it was from was filled with french items. The entire lamp is mounted on a piece of cranberry marble.
