We purchased the set at an estate sale in 2009 and did a DIY strip & refinish and recovered the chair cushions with canvas material. The set has served as our "grown-up table" dining room set ever since. Features solid mahogany, brass accents, (3) 12" leaves extending the 42" round table to a comfortable 78" x 42". The table slides stick a bit. We added brass cup casters to the table legs, which have oxidized and need replacement. There are no significant dents or scratches noticable to the eye. All 6 chairs, two with arms, have been repadded and reupholstered with soft canvas. We are relocating and no longer have a need for the set.
