19th Century French Iron Bed

i would love to know the value if anyone can help.  when i purchased this iron daybed about 15 years ago the dealer told me it was from the 1800's.  unfortunatley i have no other information about the item since at the time i was buying for personal use and didnt think i would ever be interested in selling.  Hopefully someone may know value of this item 

there is some damage to the front bottom left of the decorative apron ..
