Re: Albert Du Aime Painting

Avidilley,

I am contacting you to inquire if you would consider selling the painting of Sweik's room?  I am very interested because this was my room in Paris and I am the character Sweik in Bert's novel the Scumbler.  THis painting means alot to me and I would love to have it.  It is a rememberance of my more than 40 year friendship with Bert du Aime.

I can be contacted at [email protected]

Thank you,

Larry

History
I bought this painting at an estate sale. I recognized the name and then realized that it was a painting that is described in detail in one of my favorite William Wharton novels "Scumbler." The painting is of "Sweik's" apartment in Paris, described in chapter 4 and 5. "Today I begin my painting of Sweik's place . . ."
