I don't know much about this cabinet. I know that it is a Amberg File Cabinet made around the turn of the century. There are a few dates on the inside dated 1898. So, it must have been made a bit before that year. My grandfather gave me the cabinet, and I believe his father owned it before him. His father was a banker and would have been born around the turn of the century.
