i have a different one by the same artist. same canvas and same size it is of an aztec with a falcon on his hand. was handed down from my mother-in-law who got it from her grandfather. the painting is in great shape and over 50 years old. have you heard anything about the artist or an origin?

Pieces like this tend to be "Decorator Art", often sold tyhrough department stores in the 1960's through 70's. The Artists are generally "Unknowns", values for such pieces are is a matter of personal preference, but most at auction sell for under $150.00.
