Angelus Furniture Mfg. Co. Dining Table + Four Chairs

By Tasha8142, 14 July, 2013
Description

What's this dining set worth?
We purchased this table 13 years ago from an antiques dealer in SW Ohio, who told us it was built in the 1930s. This info is in keeping with what we've learned about Angelus, which apparently stopped making these types of tables around WWII.

It measures about 6x4 when fully closed. When the leaves are added, it stretches to nearly 10' long.

A tab can be pulled to slide the table open, revealing the leaves inside, which unfold and slide into place.

When we bought the table, it needed refinished, a task we did not take on. The chairs also desperately needed reupholstered. We did a temporary fix but nothing professional.

Re: Angelus Furniture Mfg. Co. Dining Table + Four Chairs

I have four chairs VERY similar to your chairs and i am trying to date mine. The chairs are in very bad shape and i am preparing them for painting as i will be using them.

Do you have any idea what year yours were made?
