Re: Anitque silver filigree over sized rosary
If it's silver it should have some markings on it somewhere, if it has no markings get a Jeweler to test it for silver content. As a general rule most silver is marked to indicate it's precious metal content with hall marks or a number such as "925" ( 92.5% silver) or "800" ( 80% silver). Such markings can also indicate where it was made.
Re: Anitque silver filigree over sized rosary
Yes I have already confirmed that it is silver but there are no marks that I can find on it.
Re: Anitque silver filigree over sized rosary
I'm new to this site. How much are you asking for the rosary?
Re: Anitque silver filigree over sized rosary
I'm new to this also. One of the reasons I'm looking for more info on the item is that I am not sure what it is worth. If you read the comments from the only expert I've found to date, you have seen that the item is valuable. I'm thinking a collector would love to have it as so far I can't find anything like it. Do you have any ideas on a price?
Re: Anitque silver filigree over sized rosary

Any suggestions welcome.
