Hi I recently purchased this amazing armoire wardrobe and have been trying to find out anything I can about it but I havent had much luck!
A few details- it has handmade dovetailed drawers, the metal looks hand forged, the original screws are round but with uneven marks - it is solid wood. The wood is in original condition, never refinished. The bottom of one drawer is signed but there are no other markings I can find regarding the maker etc.
Can anyone tell me if they know anything about it or how much it may be worth? My friend really wants to paint it but if it is worth more than I paid for it I dont want to change it.
