Brass or Bronze tray/plate possibly ash tray? Measures about measures 6 1/2" x 5". Art Nouveau with woman holding a note or letter. The back is engraved with “Schlick Budapest” but wasn’t able to find anything of that nature when I looked it up. Re: Antique Art Nouveau Brass Or Bronze Tray/Plate Woman

Here’s one like yours, doesn’t really give much info https://www.auctionzip.com/auction-lot/FRENCH-BRONZE-ART-NOUVEAU-LADIES… It’s sold for price seems low, especially if the estimate was correct.
Using BRONZE ART NOUVEAU LADIES' DRESSER TRAY as a search term on eBay will let you see what similar ones are being sold for. Also on eBay there is a sold box you can check on the left of the page (scroll down a bit) so you can check that and see what they have actually sold for.
There is a book called Schlick: Eine Metallgiesserei, Die Budapest Ver?Nderte Which translates to Schlick: A metal foundry that changed Budapest and so I’m guessing that’s who made your tray.

Re: Antique Art Nouveau Brass Or Bronze Tray/Plate Woman

This piece is Hungarian, made about 1890-1900. The Schlick company that made it produced a number of bronze pieces designed after origins by famous sculptors. Most pieces like this piece sell for around $150.00- $200.00 at auction.
