Boy Scouts Of America Syroco Wood trinket box (Syracuse Ornamental Company) started in 1890's in Syracuse New York. They create a new product that combined wood pulp from the Adirondacks with flour as a binder and other materials to give it strengthen then made in molds which had been carved from real wood..This could then be smoother and varnished. Very cool piece of history.
