Description This is an easel mirror that has been handed down in my family. There are flowers surrounding the majority of the framework and two nymphs taking in the flowers' fragrance. The mirror is original, very thick glass and sharply beveled at the edges. This is something that I remember seeing at my grandmother's as a girl, and it has enchanted me since then!
Category Decorative Arts
Medium I believe this mirror frame is brass-plated.
Distinguishing marks The only marking I can is stamped on the back, the number '7661'...looks like a mass-produced item.

Size and dimensions of this item approx. 10 inches tall and 12 inches wide
Date Period My great-grandparents received this as a wedding gift sometime around 1895-1905.
Weight 5-6 pounds
History I apologize on the dimensions, the item is actually at my mother's home. It was a wedding gift her grandparents received. The mirror was then handed down to my grandmother, and then to my mother.
