Description
Antique cabinet with old world carving details. Hardware looks to be cast iron. Solid wood, possibly oak. Top of wood veneer is not original to the piece but remainder of the piece is original.
I am looking for any history on this piece (style name, origin, original use, age, value (if any). Previous owner had it sitting in their office space to hold employees shoes and does not know anything about the piece.

Re: Antique Cabinet with Carvings
This piece is in the Gothic Revival style, basically reproductions of early English and European furniture. A lot of it was produced at the turn of the 19th century making it now antique in its own right. The style last peaked in popularity back in the 1990's, today a comparable piece we would retail for about $800.00.
