Antique chair with silk damask upholstery

Inherited chair have had it for 30 years. The person I inherited it from had it for about 30 years as well. Don’t know much more. I’m assuming it might be an 19th century reproduction of a 18th century design. It feels somewhat heavy but perhaps that’s the upholstery.
