I found this at a tag sale, it had a tag saying it was from the 1950's. The box itself is roughly 8.5''x4.5''x3.5''. lift the lid and it automatically swings out the ash trays on each side and brings up the cigarets. It holds 30 cigarets, there is a metal dog on top along with a roller calender. The front and the top are inlays of the checkered wood. It is in nice shape, there is a break in the wood on one of the cigaret layers and besides that it is a solid wood piece.Thank you
