Antique claret jug pair

I have this pair of Elkington & Co pitchers which were passed on to my family by my husband's Grandfather. He served as a pilot in WWII and was stationed in England and Germany during that time frame. I do not know where they were purchased or how much he paid for them. The cafter jugs are identical with greecian design and phoenix design. There is some gold embellishment. Both jugs have engravings on the bottom (see pictures for details). From my research I believe that both were produced in 1876.
