Antique dog tag maker

I have this old dog tag maker we got from a post office in arkansas. It was basically left with no info about it. There is no brand name or markings of any kind except a single plate that says graphotype. This is a older one I'm told by the use of the turn wheel instead of a typewriter style. I have not been able to find someone not charging a arm and a leg to either date it or appraise a value for me. It is bolted to the stand it is on so it is quite heavy. It also came with a box full of the original metal plates for the dog tags.
