Iceboxes like these were the last ones made before electric fridges took over the market in the late 1920's to early 30's. Ice boxes remained in use in some rural areas until the 1950's. There is not much demand for the metal examples compared to the earlier oak ice chests. you might get $150.00 for it as it is.
