Description

I inherited this set many years ago but have never been able to obtain any additional information on it. I was told the pattern is pre-war and the molds were discontinued during the war. I would like to know the value. I believe there is a 10 to 12 place setting inlcuding dinner plate, butter plate, soup bowl, dessert bowl, with 2 separate covered cassseroles, a covered butter dish, one piece gravy boat, finger bowl, cream and sugar set, and extra cups and saucers.

There were many factories doing business in Limoges, France at the turn of the last century through to the 1930's. They also produced many pieces of white ware that were decorated elsewhere and decorated porcelain as well. Demand for Limoges porcelain last peaked during the late 1980's and has been in decline since that time. Most comparable sets go at auction often for under $250.00.
