Description

I know very little about this chair except it belonged to my grandmother who at one time lived in Boston. The original fabric was a orangish brocade fabric. It had the round brass tacks all around the edge of the fabric.  It was all eaten up by mice because of where it was stored and was reupholstered.  The original wood color was also the dark stain used in that period furniture.

It dates from the turn of the 19th century, 1890-1900 or so. Not much value currently, values peaked for furniture like this in the late 19780's to early 90's. It might get $75.00 at auction.
