Description
I think it is silver and i believe it is mother of pearl on the back of each. My aunt passed away and she left it to me.

The brush is 10 inches long and about 3inches wide at the top and the handle is 1 inch in the middle and 1/2 inch at the end.
The mirror is 12 and 1/2 inches long and 4 and 1/2 inches at top and handle is same as brush.

Check closely for a silver mark. American examples in silver will be marked "Sterling" or "925", British examples will have a series of stamps called hallmarks.
