Description

I have a porcelain creamer that belonged to my great grandmother. It is a little over 3" tall, white, and on each side of the creamer is a stork or crane,( I think ) each in a different standing pose with tall grass or reeds behind it.The bird and grass stand out from the creamer,as well as the vine around the top and the design on bottom which the stork is standing on. Along the spout there is a bit of gold, not sure if it once lined the top but has worn off. There is no mark or date as you can see from thepicture of bottom and none inside the creamer or handle either. It also looks as though there are seams where the creamer may have been joined together and in the insideof the creamer there are several "freckles" or maybe air bubbles which have discolored over time

Looking at the marks by the spout, and few on the bottom, it seems more like a ceramic or terra cotta creamer painted over w/a white glaze.  To determine if it's fine-quality china or porcelain, hold it up to a light or lightbulb, and see if it's vaguely transparent.
