Description

I have 13 3/4" wide by 10 1/2" high platter with cobalt blue trim and gold accents with a swimming salmon...I saw a set with a different fish (trout I think) in green with the same gold pattern and they said it was Limoges (French)...but there are no markings whatsoever on this plate - so, looking for some help...I am looking to sell this piece so ID and a price would be great!  It is a heavy plate...like pottery but not as thick as pottery.

Most of these fish platters are European and date from the third quarter of the 19th century. The unmarked examples sell for less than those by well known makers. We'd retail one like this for about $125.00.
