Description
I have an antique settee set that has been in our family for many, many years. A distant relative (in
Missouri) gave them to my mother approximately 65 years ago, and she had them reupholstered then. The set consists of a settee (50" wide), a side chair (27" wide), and a rocker (27" wide). The settee and side chair both have casters on the front legs. The fabric is in excellent condition, as is the wood, with minor scratches. There is a small area on the front edge of the underside of the side chair where the fabric has come loose. We are moving soon, and our new house will not accommodate this set.

Re: Antique Settee Set
This piece is in the "Empire Revival" style, which was based on the original American Empire style made 1815-40. These revival pieces date tothe turn of the 19th century, but were made into the 1920's. The style is not currently popular and pieces like this are hard to sell , at auction comparable pieces now often sell for under $250.00.
