Description

****RARE* GALLERY QUALITY WONDERFUL ASIAN ART COLLECTORS

This unique elephant is .8" tall x 7" wide teal green glazed ceramic schekwan ware **Rare large size ceramic Chinese vintage statue figural VASE of an elephant. This is a piece that you will cherish for years to come  can hold water for flowers -from Old Collection with exact age undetermined.

Vintage mud figures are somewhat primitive and are glazed in vibrant blue, green, purple, yellow, red, and pearly white to name a few.In addition, many of the older mud figures will have the glaze pooled in heavy globules at the base, around the feet or in the clothing folds.  You will notice almost an oily appearance to the older glazes.

I HAVE SEEN THESE VALUED FROM 275.00 TO 475.00
