Like most of these quarter cut oak pieces, it dates from the turn of the 19th Century and is in the Colonial Revival style. They were all mass produced items, largely products of the hundreds of furniture related manufacturers located in Grand Rapids Michigan. At auction comparable pieces sell for under $500.00.
