Description
I have what I was told was called a Tilt Top Table/Chair. I don't know much about them, but it is a beautiful piece of furniture. I have only saw a few items like this and they were not in as good as shape as mine. It serves as both a chair or a table. It has a round table top that tilts back to form the back of the chair. The chair has 2 drawers under the seat. It is just a beautiful item. It was my grandmas, then my moms and now mine. I am including some pictures for your viewing. I would appreciate any feed back and information you could give me. Thanks
Re: Antique Tilt Top Table/Chair
Based on your images, this one is a reproduction based on American Colonial examples made during the early 18th century. Pieces like this have never really been out of production, most of them post date World War Two. We retail examples in good shape in the $300-500.00 range.
