I received this chair from my late brother and can not find anything about this type of chair. It is wood with carved duck heads on the arm rests. The tilting mechinism works great and the green velvet is in great shape considering the age. on the front of the cast iron tilting mechinism it reads Pat.D. Sept. 4. 1860 and on the side if the mechinism it reads R.W. Archer Rochester N.Y. It has the leather razor strap attached. On the leater razor strap in reads Genuine Russian and has a crest.
That's all I know about the chair. I have been to the library and searched the internet and cannot find anything.
