Antique Writing Desk

Description

I have no idea of it's origin but my family has had this at least 55 years. It is 25" x 60" table and we believe it was used as a writing desk. It's missing a middle drawer and a piece was added 40 years ago to stabilize the legs. It expands on both sides with pull out and lift up leafs. Then it measures 39" x 60". Any ideas on it's origin/manufacturer and value would be so appreciated. I believe it's mahogany.

This is a Jacobean Revival piece, designed to look like early English furniture. Most of it dates from the 1920's through 1950's and the style was made by a huge number of furniture companies on both sides of the Atlantic ocean. As a piece missing a drawer and some repairs its value is fairly modest, comparables sell for under $75.00 at auction.
