Description

I have a Pewter framed vanity mirror that looks like the art nouveau style. I cannot locate any makers mark, just a Pewter mark on the back. It doesnt look as old or as clean carving as some ive seen online , also maybe the back was replaced with newer screws..It is very heavy and measures 11"  x 9". There is some surface scratching in some areas not too bad. The neck appears to have a crack or maybe it was made to look older than it is. Even though the neck feels very sturdy the crack does seem to go all the way around the neck.  Not sure how deep of a crack as it is feels very sturdy. I dont know the age or if a remake or is it valuable.??  It was purchased as a thrift store in southern california.  Thanks so much

My mother bought one of these when I was in high school in early 1980's at Nordstrom's.  Her's was brass.  I think yours might be a different version of the same.  Age is approximately 34-yrs that would explain the newer screws.  Still a very pretty mirror and I wish I would have gotten it from her to this day.  I believe she paid somewhere in the neighborhood of about $30-$50 for it.
