Description

Fold up lid (silk interior) cubic shape on four straight legs  One small (almost 'hidden) draw at bottom on one side.  Chinesejapanese? style black laquere and gilt and possibly ivory inlay on art work depicting different scenes on each side of top 'box/cubicle and on lid.

Medium Wood, I have no idea what kind. I was told it was lacquer and gilt and guess that's correct comparing to other images i've seen. Silk On inside of flip lid.

History Grand father collected bits and pieces during his time in the army at war from various different countries but I never knew him or much about him.
