Asian Ginger Jar

Description

Ginger Jar that stands 15.5" with lid on.  It weighs 4 lb, 14.6oz.  It has a teal green bird with some teal colored decorations and flowers.  Also has pink flowers and blue decorations.

Inside the jar the first 1/3 is not glazed.  There is glazing the outside of the jar.  The bottom outside edge 1/2" is a darker light tan color with sand grains embeded into the glaze.  The inside of the lid is not glazed as well as the ouside lip where the lid sits.  The inside of the top lip has a reddish clay color.  The jar is not signed nor stamped.

The inside of the top lip has a clay colored discoloration. The bottom 1/2" edge has a darker light brown color with it appears pieces of sand embedded.
