Description
Cathedral mounted, old European cut, real diamond, wedding/engagement ring (?) 925 silver, gold plated, appears hand crafted, hallmark or makers mark of a half sun inside it, the only other place I've seen this symbol is on an ancient Byzantine artifact cross I saw online recently. The band itself reminds me of a lyre/harp, yet also reminds me a laurel pattern.

Re: Beautiful, unique antique ring I can't identify...
You'll have to have it physically examined by a gemologist to determine the quality and value of the stone, which is where most of the value is for items like this.
