Hello and thank you for viewing my appraisal request.

This is an original autographed photo of Bela Lugosi. It was given to me by my father. The "Mrs. Perkins" this is addressed to was my grandmother's cousin. If anyone could provide information on authenticating this, along with the general worth of this item, I would greatly appreciate it!

History I really have no way to confirm this back story, but from what my father told me, Mrs. Perkins worked as a nurse where Bela Lugosi sought treatment for his addiction. He enjoyed having her as a nurse and requested her whenever possible; at the end of his stint, he gave her this signed photo. As my family is deceased, I'm not sure how to go about finding concrete evidence for this history. If anyone has any tips, I would be grateful! Thank you!
