I have no idea how to value this, seems like a piece for a maritime museum. There’s lot online about the ship including some short YouTube videos and even a song by Gordon Lightfoot https://gordonlightfoot.com/BalladofYarmouthCastle.shtml I also found what I believe to be the same bell on worthpoint, I’m assuming this is the one you bought https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/antique-historical-ships-bell-ss-1885077681

I don’t. I was thinking that since the ship changed names it may not have been the bell on the SS Yarmouth Castle. I don’t know if it would have been removed from the SS Evangeline when name changed. That would be worth knowing. Being built in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and later having sunk in Miami, Florida makes me think those would be the places where there might be interest, museums or nautical themed shops.

"If a ship's name is changed, maritime tradition is that the original bell carrying the original name will remain with the vessel. A ship's bell is a prized possession when a ship is broken up[3] and often provides the only positive means of identification in the case of a shipwreck." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship%27s_bell

These are some bells that sold on liveauctioneers. I do think the history of the ships tragic ending is important info that might help you find a buyer. Nautical groups on Facebook, nautical related posts on Instagram might be online sources to get it seen.
