This dining set was from my grandparent's formal dining room. My understanding was it was bought in the late 1920s or early 30s. Our family received in in the mid-1960s. I have been told that it is mahogany, but I'm not sure. There are 6 chairs in the set. The table is in good condition (some surface blemishes) and measures 46" x 60". There are 3 leafs fior the table as well. The buffet is in very good condition and measures 71"w x 22"d x 37"h. The chairs are also in good conditiion, but they're in need of another recovering and could use some re-glueing around some of the post/hole connectors. While I'm interested in a appraisal, I'm also interested to know about more about this style of furniture. Thank you.
