Brass? Box with inlay box

Don't know anything about this box, no markings anywhere.  Would guess it was purchased about 30-40 years ago.  It is heavy!  Measures 7.5" wide, 6.75" depth, 3.75" height.  There is a sticker on the bottom but don't know if that info helps.  Has these decorative inlayed pieces around all sides and top.  Intereior is a old red velvet.  Found in attic of grandparents home, they traveled the world so not sure where it may have came from.
